Sublime with Rome Information
Sublime members Bradley Nowell (vocals and guitar), Bud Gaugh (drums), and Eric Wilson (bass guitar) first came together in 1988. It took the release of their third album in 1996 to finally reach mainstream success. Unfortunately the passing of lead singer Nowell came two months before the release date, forcing the band to split.
Sublime's self-titled album produced seven singles, all of which received heavy air play on the radio. The songs "What I Got," "Santeria," and "Wrong Way" all made it to the top three ranks on the U.S. Modern Rock charts. The band was apart from 1996 until just recently when Gaugh and Wilson announced a reunion tour with new lead singer "Rome."
Due to an assortment of ongoing legal issues, it's been confirmed that the revamped Sublime will now refer to themselves as "Sublime with Rome." They're scheduled to arrive at major venues in cities that include Los Angeles, Chicago and Philadelphia.
