Maroon 5 Information

Maroon 5’s 2008 It Won’t Be Soon Before Long was the #1 selling album on iTunes with more than 50,000 digital pre-sales and broke sales records the week of its release, selling over 101,000 albums. With such high expectation built up for the follow-up, Maroon 5 is touring before and during the release of their next album, Hands All Over, perhaps to gives fans a taste of what’s to come.

The band escaped to Lake Geneva, Switzerland to record last year after ending a year long tour, frontman Adam Levine told Nylon Magazine. Lavine also mentioned Hands All Over features a duet with Lady Antebellum singer Hillary Scott called “Out of Goodbyes”. Lavine has also been hinting for quite some time that there’s a very good chance the next album could be the band’s last, but confesses to Nylon interviewer that he has no idea, and hates to think about the future.

The Maroon 5 2010 summer tour scales the East Coast with a free show on July 2nd for NBC’s Today Show and ending in Pennsylvania, featuring artist Guster, Owl City and Ry Cuming along the way. Maroon 5 hits the Comcast Center in Mansfield Tuesday, August 10th midway through their tour and the expected release date of Hands All Over is September 21st.
