Lyle Lovett Information

Lyle Lovett is a country singer-songwriter, record producer, and actor from Texas. He began his music career in 1980 and has recorded thirteen albums and released 21 singles since then. His hit song "Cowboy Man" reached No. 10 on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. He has won four Grammy Awards for Best Country Album and Best Male Country Vocal Performance. Lovett's music career began as a songwriter in 1980 but in 1986 he signed with MCA records and released his debut album. On October 20, 2009, Lost Highway Records released his most recent studio album, "Natural Forces."

In addition to his music career, Lovett has also acted in a number of films as well as many television shows. His films include "The Player" (1992), "Cookie's Fortune" (1999), "The New Guy" (2002), and "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story" (2007). His television repertoire includes "Mad About You," "Brothers & Sisters," "Dharma & Greg" and "Castle."

Lovett will be on a short month-long tour this November. He will be at Boston's Wilbur Theatre for one night on November 4 at 8PM.
