John Fogerty Information
John Fogerty was introduced to the music business in 1965. The swamp/roots rocker first came on the scene with Creedence Clearwater Revival. Together with his brother Tom Fogerty, Stu Cook, and Doug Clifford, the band has sold over 26 million albums in the U.S. alone. Creedence Clearwater Revival despite being together for just five years have certainly made an immense impact on music. Still receiving radio airplay, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993.
Fogerty after splitting with the group in 1972 began his solo career and to this day is still touring and making music. As a one man show he has released eight studio albums and 20 singles. The most recognizable hit song from Fogerty is "The Old Man Down the Road" (released in 1985). The 64 year old just released a sequal to his first solo album "The Blue Ridge Rangers" entitled "The Blue Ridge Rides Again." He is currently touring major U.S. cities and will be expected to arrive at the Orpheum Theater on Sunday, November 29th in Boston, MA.
