Human Nature Information
Australian pop group, Human Nature, got their start in 1989. The group consists of Andrew Tierney, Michael Tierney, Toby Allen, and Phil Burton. They have 13 albums, 17 top 40 hits and five top ten hits in Australia. They released their first album, Telling Everybody in 1996 after signing with Sony Music Australia. They supported Michael Jackson and Celine Dion on the performersâ€™ Australian and European tours.
They performed the Australian National Anthem at the 2000 Summer Olympics and followed up with a Greatest Hits album in 2001. In 2008, Human Nature performed for the first time in the U.S. After performing at the Sydney Opera House and with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, they started in Las Vegas for a year-long engagement at the Imperial Palace Hotel and casino, which was then extended for two more years. Their ninth album, Vegas: Songs from Sin City covers many songs having to do with Las Vegas.
They toured Australia again in 2010 with state symphony orchestras that include, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, and the West Australian Symphony Orchestra. PBS aired a performance of one of their Vegas shows in 2011, which will be sold on DVD.
They are finishing up their Los Vegas engagement and will be kicking off their very first North American tour on March 24 in Detroit, and will continue on throughout the U.S.
