Bring Me the Horizon Information

Hailing from Sheffield, England, Oliver Sykes, Matt Nicholls, Curtis Ward, Matt Kean and Lee Malia formed Bring Me The Horizon in 2004, setting the UK ablaze with blistering, scream performances across the country. By 2006 the band earned the title of Kerrang's "Best British Newcomers" and toured with Killswitch Engage, Aiden and Bleeding Through. Later that fall the group unleashed their debut album, Count Your Blessings, which further cemented their place among the metalcore elite.

In April 2008 the group entered the studio with legendary producer Fredrik Norstrom in an isolated area of Sweden, where they recorded their sophomore album, Suicide Season (2008). Their latest direction is varied vocals, atmospheric guitar and a driving drum force, experimenting with their possible sounds and branching away from their thrashing roots. Suicide Season begins with sharp chainsaw riffs, pistol-whipping beats and snarling vocals. Bring Me the Horizon’s follow-up, the upcoming There Is a Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is a Heaven, Let's Keep It a Secret, will be the third illustration of how the band’s dipped its toes into different musical styles while keeping true to their original fanbase. Bring Me the Horizon will be touring in promotion of their new album this fall, stopping at Boston’s House of Blues on November 19th with August Burns Red.
