Tom Bergling, also known as Avicii, Tom Hangs, or Tim Berg, is a Swedish DJ, remixer, and record producer. He got his start at 18 years old when he made a remix of the theme song to the video game, Lazy Jones. He then signed with Strike Recordings and debuted his first single, Lazy Lace. His four singles, "Seek Bromance," "My Feelings For You," "Fade Into Darkness," and "Levels" have all reached the charts in countries like Sweden, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, the UK and Australia. "Levels" hit the U.S. Billboard, charting at #60 on the Hot 100.
Notable collaborations include 2011's "Collide" with Leona Lewis that reached #1 on the U.S. Billboard Dance chart and "Sunshine" with David Guetta that was nominated for a Grammy Award. He went on his first world tour in 2010, traveling mostly across North America and Western Europe. Throughout 2011 and 2012, he performed at college and universities across the U.S., Canada, and Europe, as well as festivals such as ULTRA Music Festival and Coachella.
Avicii schedules performances all across the world. He recently announced his next North American fall tour which is set to kick off on August 31 at the Marquee Night Club in Las Vegas. 26 stops later it will wrap up in the United States on Octover 12 at Austin City Limits in Austin, Texas, then fully conclude in Brazil in November.
