Great seats with a not so great result!!
March 06, 2013
Thank you to Robert and everyone at Ace for finding two great seats to Bruins versus Capitals in DC. An amazing first period coupled with a less than amazing second and third period. But we had a great view! I would never hesitate to purchase from Ace. Thank you Ace!

Washington Capitals Information

The Washington Capitals joined the NHL in 1974. In their history they have no Stanley Cups and one Conference Championship in the 1997-98 season. The Capitals have not been successful in making the playoffs until 2008, when they finished on top of the Southeast division with 43 regular season wins. They met the Philadelphia Flyers in the Conference quarterfinals and were defeated in a hard fought seven game series.

The 2009 Capitals were back for another playoff run, again finishing first in the Southeast with a 50-24-8 record. Behind Sergei Federov and Alexander Ovechkin, the Capitals lost in seven games to the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Conference Semifinals. In 2010-11, the team made it back into the playoffs and after eliminating the Rangers, lost to the Lightning in the Semifinals.

In the start of the 2011-2012 season, the Capitals started with a record of 7-0 then won only five of their next 15 games. They made a big push and finished 7th overall seed in the Eastern Conference. They then defeated the favored Boston Bruins in 7 games and advanced to the second-round to face the New York Rangers. The team put up a fight but ultimately lost the series 3-4.
