Opened in 1925 as the Metropolitan Theatre, The Wange Theatre (as it became known as in 1983) is one of Boston's most historic venues. The Wang underwent a major restoration project between 1989-1992. Since that time, the upgraded venue has played host to some of Broadway's best touring productions. Over recent years the Wang Theatre has even booked rock/pop concerts.
