Virginia Tech Hokies Information, The Hokies are the athletics teams that officially represent Virginia Tech in college sports. They participate in the NCAA Division 1 Atlantic Coast Conference with 19 varsity sports. Virginia Tech's men's sports are football, basketball, baseball, Cricket, cross country, golf, soccer, swimming, tennis, track and field, and wrestling. Their women's sports are basketball, cross country, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, and track and field. They were a part of the Big East Conference until 2004 when they switched over to the ACC.
