Them Crooked Vultures Information, Them Crooked Vultures (abbreviated as TCV) is a hard rock supergroup from Los Angeles, California. The band is comprised of drummer Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, Nirvana), vocalist and guitarist Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age, Kyuss, Desert Sessions, Eagles of Death Metal, Screaming Trees) and bassist and keyboardist John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin). They also feature Alain Johannes (Eleven and also of Queens of the Stone Age) as a live guitarist.
People first heard word of the developing band in 2005 when Grohl mentioned playing with Homme and Jones in an interview with "Mojo," where he stated "The next project that I'm trying to initiate involves me on drums, Josh Homme on guitar, and John Paul Jones playing bass. That’s the next album." It took them until August of 2009 to perform their first show in Chicago, where they featured all of their new material including "Nobody Loves Me and Neither Do I," "Elephants," "Scumbag Blues," and "Caligulove."
TCV is scheduled to play at the House of Blues in Boston October 11th before they make their way to Philadelphia and Washington D.C. Their goal is to release their debut album "Never Deserved the Future" by the fall of this year, but we may have to wait until 2010.
