The Script Information

Alternative rock band The Script from Dublin, Ireland made their debut with the self-titled album released in 2008. While we know Danny O'Donoghue and Mark Sheehan as the duo that make up the Script, Irish natives know them better as the former members of moderately successful UK boy band MyTown. By branching out on their own and adding member Glen Power, the newly formed group branched outside their boy band roots and began working with R&B producers that were much more in tune with the sound the Script was looking to emulate.

What came of the collaboration was radio play for the single “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved” and great record sales for The Script, at the top of UK and US album charts. They also received invitations to play exclusive opening shows for U2 and Paul McCartney. Their next album "Science & Faith" was released on January 18, 2011. The first single, "For the First Time," entered the UK charts at No. 5 and entered the Irish charts at No. 1.

Their most recent album, "#3" was released September of 2012. The first single "Hall of Fame" features a vocal from will.i.am. The album consisted of twelve tracks on the standard release, with several extras featured on the iTunes version. In the wake of this release the Script will begin their new 2012 fall North American tour on October 9 at the Radio City Music Hall in New York. The tour will finish off on November 10 at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ. Be sure to catch them at Agganis Arena on Friday, November 9 at 7:30pm.
