For more than eighty years now, the Rockettes have danced their way into the hearts of millions. The amazing dance troupe is headlining the Radio City Christmas Spectacular this year in several cities throughout the U.S. Stationed out of Radio City Music hall in NYC, the Rockettes perform the most watched live show in the US with a totaling 2.1 million people tuning in to watch them perform annually at the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, The Columbus Day Parade, and the American Thanksgiving Parade in Detroit. Theyíve dances that the Macy's Day Parade since 1957 and still continue to headline. The dance troupe was created by Russell Market in 1925 in St. Louis, MO as the, "Missouri Rockets". After touring and making fabulous appearances, they were found by Samuel "Roxy" Rothafel and brought to NYC. It was there where the won the grand prize at the Paris Exposition de Dance in WWII. The troupe gained to opportunity be the mainstay for the USO Tours.
