Information

Phish is a band that first came together in 1983 while attending the University of Vermont. They are most well known for covering many genres of music and increasing popularity for improvisational styles. Rolling Stone Magazine stated that the band helped "spawn a new wave of bands oriented around group improvisation and super extended grooves," calling them "the most important band of the Nineties."

After disbanding in 2004, the group has come back for a string of shows in 2009 and possibly 2010. Current members include of Trey Anastasio, Mike Gordon, Jon Fishman, and Page McConnell. Along with touring they also just completed their 14th studio album "Joy with Lilly White. The first single "Tim Turns Elastic" was released on iTunes this summer, followed by the album release in September. Phish will be touring from November 18th to December 5th at different concert venues in Portland, Detroit, Syracuse, Philadelphia, Albany, New York City, and Charlottesville.
