Information

Owl City (stage name for Adam Young) started creating music in his parents basement due to his troubles with insomnia. From there he went on to create "Fireflies," a song that went on to become one of the most downloaded iTunes tracks in 2009. "Fireflies" came from the album "Ocean Eyes," which also features popular songs "Strawberry Avalanche" and "Hot Air Balloon."

Young draws most of his inspiration from disco and European electronic type genres of music. Andrew Farley, Caleb Best and Breanne Duren help Young complete Owl City for the full live experience. Young has just announced to perform a string of shows from late January to early February. The winter tour will kick off at the Beaumont Club in Kansas City and will end at the Revolution Music Room in Little Rock on February 10th.
