Information

New Orleans Hornets information, The Hornets came into existence in the 1988 season as the Charlotte Hornets. They moved to New Orleans in 2002. Since the Hornets entered the league they have not won or played in the NBA finals, but have qualified for the playoffs eleven times.

In 2008 they finished with a 56-26 record and advanced to the Western Conference Semi-Finals. The San Antonio Spurs knocked them off in a tight 7 game series. The following season they found themselves back in the playoffs, but were unable to make it past the first round. The Nuggets sent them home after 5 games, including an embarrassing 121-63 beating in game four. The Hornets in 2010 will again come back as playoff contenders with Chris Paul, Peja Stojakovic, and James Posey leading the charge. The franchise has also picked up Emeka Okafor and Ike Diogu this off-season.
