Information

Nashville Predators information, The Nashville Predators entered the NHL as an expansion team in 1998. The upstart Nashville team made the playoffs for the first time in the 2003-04 season, losing in the quarterfinals to the Red Wings 4 games to 2. 2008 marked the fourth consecutive season of playoff hockey for the Predators.

In 2009 Nashville wasn't able to keep their streak alive, ending the season in 5th place in the Central division with a 40-34-8 record. With Steve Sullivan and J.P. Dumont back on the squad controlling the offensive end, the Predators should be able to get back into the playoff race for 2009 .
