Memphis Grizzlies Information

The Grizzlies were founded in 1995 as the Vancouver Grizzlies. They relocated to Memphis for the 2001 season. After reaching the playoffs for two consecutive years the Grizzlies didn't qualify in 2007 or 2008.

The 2009 Grizzlies unfortunately did not finish with a record anywhere near their division leaders, marking the third year in a row where the Grizzlies were unable to win more than 25 games. In 2010, they improved to 40 wins but still couldn't reach the playoffs.

They finished off the 2010-11 season with a 46-36 record and a seed in the playoffs. They beat the Spurs in a seven game series, but lost to the Thunder in another seven game series. This season, the Grizzlies are vying for another playoff spot. With limited amount of games left, the Grizzlies will have to make a strong finish that will propel them into the postseason.
