The Maaco Bowl Las Vegas is an NCAA division 1 post-season college football game that has taken place every year since 1992. Even though ‘92 was the first official year, the concept came from the California Raisin Bowl which was played in Fresno since 1981. The game relocated ten years later to become the Las Vegas Bowl. The annual contest is played at Sam Boyd Stadium and shares conference tie-ins with the MWC and Pac-10. Last year's winner was Arizona, who defeated BYU 31-21. The 2009 Maaco Bowl Las Vegas is scheduled for December 22nd.
