Los Angeles Kings information, The Kings joined the NHL in 1967. They play in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference. Despite having the best player in the NHL (Wayne Gretzky) for many years the Kings never won a Stanley Cup. They did make one appearance in the finals in the 1992-93 season, but lost in five games to the Canadiens.

In 2008 and 2009 the Kings finished last in their division. They will look to right wing Dustin Brown, Centre Anze Kopitar, and defensemen Matt Greene to help them improve for future seasons. After two successful draft years, LA might be able to develop some young talent and find themselves in a winning pattern.
