Lady A meets hootie in Thompson Square
May 11, 2012
The concert was wonderful. Thompson Square was a good opening act and ended their stay with a great rendition of "are you going to kiss me or not". Darius Rucker was fantastic with a full range of his new work complemented with a couple of classic Hootie songs, but the kicker was an awesome rendition of Prince's "Purple rain". Lady A provided a powerful dynamic ending to the evening with a great range of musicality and entertainment. They are clearly excited to be a headlining act and they lived up to the billing. Great night by talented entertainers. The seats from Ace were primo and well worth every penny as an early Mother's day gift.
