Great Show!
August 13, 2013
Although I wished Justin would have performed more songs from his recent album, I understand why he didnt. He sung his butt off and played intruments which was very entertaing. Jay-z did his thing as always. I think Justin 2007 show at the garden was a tad bit better. And when Jayz came with Kanye in 2011 at the garden was a tad bit better also. But all in all I enjoyed my first expericence at fenway park!

Best concert ever

Hard to decide who was the best performer. Both were insane. Jay-Z's mic was all the way up, no pre-recorded track in the background, no skipping words because he was out of breath like most other rappers do. JT was all over the stage dancing, singing, playing guitar, keyboard, piano. They complemented each other so well. I am seriously considering quitting my job and following this tour the rest of the way, it was that good.

Amazing night!

One of the best concerts I've ever been to. First a couple of not so good issues: Although the tickets said start time was supposed to be 7PM, the performance didn't start until close to 9 PM. Didn't feel the artists used the whole stage allowing the grandstand and upper level to enjoy some "close up time" but gave the field audience the majority of attention when performing making us feel kind of left out.Other than those minor things, awesome concert! All of the songs were good but the best songs: New York State of Mind, Forever Young, Mirrors, and Pusher Love Girl

Justin Timberlake Information

Justin Timberlake has spent most of his life in the spotlight. As a child he sang country songs on the television show Star Search at the age of 11 before joining the Mickey Mouse Club a year later in 1993. It was on the Mickey Mouse Club that he would meet future N*Sync band mate, JC Chasez and girlfriend, Britney Spears.

‘N Sync formed in 1995 when Timberlake and Chasez brought on Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick. The band wouldn’t achieve mainstream American success until 1998 with the release of their album, *NSYNC which sold 11 million records. The band would release two more albums before their dissolution, No Strings Attached and Celebrity. Justin Timberlake wrote all three singles off of Celebrity, each one charting in the Billboard Top 20.

In 2002, the Memphis, Tennessee native released his debut album, Justified, which would go on to sell seven million records worldwide. Through his collaboration with the Neptunes and Timbaland on this record his music had a more R&B feel than the bubblegum pop ‘N Sync fans had become accustomed to. These collaborations lead to future collaborations with hip-hop artists like Nelly, Snoop Dogg, and Jay-Z as well as artists from various other genres like Beyonce and Reba McEntire.

His sophomore effort, FutureSex/LoveSounds, would go four times Platinum after its release in late 2006. Songs like “Sexy Back” and “My Love” were a hit on the charts while Timberlake became a hit on the silver screen. He starred in first full-length films around this time starting with Alpha Dog before starring in Southland Tales and Black Snake Moan around this time.

From 2007 to early 2013 Timberlake had gone a semi-hiatus from music. He didn’t release albums of his own instead being featured on other artists’ albums. During this time JT focused more on acting than anything else. He starred in 2010’s The Social Network and in 2011’s Friends with Benefits alongside Mila Kunis. His third solo album, The 20/20 Experience is due out in mid-March and his first single “Suit and Tie” featuring Jay-Z was debuted in a live performance at the Grammy Awards. The two have revealed that there will be a major stadium “Suit and Tie” tour following the release of the album. The single has already hit number four on the Billboard Hit 100 list.
