UPPER SRO Row GA
Great show aside from a flaw by the venue itself
March 20, 2012
In my opinion, its difficult for djs to put on an amazing show in comparison to performers who physically put on a show. Justice absolutely did it. It was amazing. They made the crowd crazy and everyone was dancing and having a great time. We got there early and claimed a good spot since it was standing room. About half way through the show, the empty area that was blocked off in front of us was opened for a reserved party and completely blocked our view. How can someone reserve a section of standing room?! They were all spoiled snooty college kids that had daddy pay for a separate section for them and probably didn't even know the music. It wasnt even just a small group. It was a large group that suddenly got in front of everyone. I found that very annoying and asked the security guard why everyone had moved in front of us and he said they reserved it. I am just upset at the venue (house of blues boston) that let's this happen. We went from having a great clear view, to having to watch them on the tv above us. It shouldn't have happened that way. When the tix went on sale there was no such thing as "reserved standing room" so I guess they were special and ruined a good time for many. Justice was amazing though, go see them.

Justice, a two-man French band featuring Gaspard Auge and Xavier de Rosnay, has a rock/indie vibe in their music. They were nominated for four Grammy Awards, with one win for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical and have three top ten hits on the charts.

After creating the remix for Simian’s song, “Never Be Alone,” they were signed by Ed Banger Records in 2003. They then worked on remixes for their song “We Are Your Friends” with performers, including Britney Spears, N*E*R*D, and Fatboy Slim. Their first single was “Waters of Nazareth,” which led the way for the 2007 release of their first album,†.

The album was followed by performances worldwide, including Parklife, Coachella, Sonar, Fuji Rock Festival, Hultsfred Festival, Oxegen, T in the Park, Dour Festival, Pinkpop, and Phoenix Park Marquee.

In 2008, they announced a DVD release of a concert and documentary film called, A Cross the Universe, which was then followed by a tour. They remixed a song for Birdy Nam Nam in 2009, “The Parachute Ending.” They also remixed songs by U2, “Get On Your Boots” and Lenny Kravitz, “Let Love Rule.”

In March 2011, they released their song “Civilization,” and then in October 2011, released their second album, Audio, Video, Disco. They continue to perform shows throughout the world.
