Jerry Seinfeld information, Jerry Seinfeld was born on April 29th, 1954 in Brooklyn, New York. He is a well known Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning American comedian that has also acted and published written work in the form of books. Often described as an observational comedian, Seinfeld is best known for playing a semi-fictional version of himself in the long-running situational comedy, Seinfeld, (1989 - 1998), which he co-created, helped write and, in the show's final two seasons, executively produced.

Seinfeld also starred as, "Barry B. Benson," a bee in the film Bee Movie, his first major venture back into the media industry since the finale of Seinfeld. He still performs stand-up comedy acts all around the country and often appears on late night shows as a regular guest.

Forbes magazine estimates that Seinfeld has made over 1 billion dollars from the his television career alone making him on of the wealthiest American comedians of all time.
