The Bucks were founded in 1968 and play in the Central Division of the Eastern Conference. They won their first and only NBA Championship in 1971 and have 13 division titles, but have failed to gain one since 2001.
The 2008 Bucks finished the regular season with a 34-48 record and did not reach the playoffs. The next season, they had an identical record to the previous year, resulting in another elimination from the playoffs.
In the 2009-2010 season, The Bucks clinched the a spot in the playoffs with a 46-36 record, but were eliminated in a hard fought seven-game series against the Atlanta Hawks. The 2010-11 season ended with a 35-47 record, keeping them from the playoffs. This season, they will not make the playoffs as they remain behind a fierce Chicago Bulls team and the steady Indiana Pacers.
Look for the Bucks to finish off the season strong and look forward to the 2012-13 season.
