Located in Foxboro, MA, Gillette stadium is a new and improved home for the New England Patriots and the New England Revolution soccer team. Funded by Robert Kraft, owner of the Patriots, construction began in March of 2000 at a cost of $325 million. What the team was lacking in the old Foxboro Stadium, they made up for with their new home.

Gillette Stadium, unlike its predecessor now boasts comfort and conveniences to all who come out to enjoy a game. Not only does the new stadium feature over 8,000 more seats then the old stadium, the general quality is greatly improved over the previous field. Unlike Foxboro stadium, at Gillette Stadium you can opt to watch the game in the comfort of one of their 2,000 Luxury Seats or 6,000 Club Seats. With 500 point of sale vending options and 8 ATM's scattered throughout, you don't have to look far to get what you want. To assure you see and hear all you see, the stadium has 2 giant HDTV screens above each end zone,1,000 smaller displays throughout and 2,0000 sound sources. In November 2006 a team decision was made to replace the original grass field with FieldTurf, making games in inclement weather easier for players on both teams. Every New England Patriots home game was sold out through the 2005 season.
