Florida State Seminoles Information, The Florida State Seminoles represent Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. They have been a part of the NCAA Division 1 ACC Conference since 1992. Out of their 17 varsity programs, the Seminoles have won 12 National Titles and over 100 team Conference Titles.
In March of 2009 the program was put on recruiting probation for four years by the NCAA. The violations include 60+ student-athletes across 10 sports involved in academic fraud. Florida State's most recent National Championships were earned by the Men's Outdoor Track and Field team in 2007 and 2008.
