Demi Lovato is a Disney singer/actress most well known for starring in the 2008 Disney Channel Original movie camp rock with the Jonas brothers. She is now in the midst of her 2009 tour, showcasing songs from her new album "Here We Go Again." Former American Idol contestant David Archuleta will be opening the majority of her shows.
Her debut solo album "Don't Forget" reached #2 on the Billboard 200, selling over 89,000 copies in its first week in stores. her second album this year beat that total with 108,000 copies sold in week 1. Although she is fairly new to the music industry, she has been familiar with acting for almost her entire life. When she was 6 years old she starred as one of the children in Barney & Friends (seasons 7 and 8). She has appeared in numerous Disney television shows and televised concerts as well. Just recently She won three Teen Choice Awards for "Breakout Star Female," "Choice Music-Tour" and "Choice Summer-TV Show."
