Dallas Stars information, Founded as the Minnesota North Stars in 1967, the team moved to Dallas in 1993 and simply became the Stars. They play in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference. The Stars won their first and only Stanley Cup in 1998-99. The Stars have qualified for post-season play in the 2006-07 season.
