Information

Formed in 1995, four Florida State University students started what would become one of the biggest bands in the world. Debut album My Own Prison was recorded for a modest $6000. After being picked up by Wind-Up Records, the album would go on to 6x platinum status, and is still in the top 200 of best-selling albums all-time. Singles "My Own Prison", "Torn", and "One" connected with an audience that was looking for a positive message channeled through hard rock music. Follow up album Human Clay sold nearly twice as many copies (11x platinum), and cemented the band as a household name. Lead single "Higher" was the band's biggest hit, gracing the Hot 100 and modern rock charts for 57 weeks. Second single "With Arms Wide Open" was their first to hit #1.

Creed's third album, Weathered, included fan favorite single "One Last Breath". Shortly after the supporting tour, the band broke up to work on separate projects. Scott Stapp recorded his debut solo album, and the rest of the band joined up with vocalist Myles Kennedy to form Alter Bridge. Amid rumors that Kennedy would replace Robert Plant on a Led Zeppelin tour, discussion of a Creed Reunion tour began to emerge. The band reconnected at a college Bowl game, and decided to work together as a group again. Forthcoming album Full Circle, is said to reflect the struggles that the band went through during their hiatus. Along with the new album is a full North Amercian tour, so check back to see when Creed tickets are available!
