The Reds were established in 1869 and have been members of the National League since 1890. They play in the NL Central Division. The Reds have won five World Series Titles and nine NL Pennants. "The Big Red Machine" of the '70's may have been the best years for the franchise. With legends such as Johnny Bench and Pete Rose the Reds won back to back World Series in 1975-1976.

Cincinnati hasn't made the playoffs since 1995 when they clinched the NL Central division. After defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLDS, they were knocked out in the National League Championship series by the Atlanta Braves. They finished 5th in the NL Central last season with a 74-88 record. The Reds are looking to bring in new talent in order to show improvements from their last few seasons. Look for youngsters Jay Bruce, Homer Bailey, Edinson Volquez, and Joey Votto to help Cincinnati shake things up in the NL Central this year..
