Chicago Bears Information

TThe Chicago Bears are members of the North Division of the NFC. The team plays at Soldier Filed in Chicago, Illinois and they are one of the most successful NFL franchises ever. The Bears won Super Bowl XX and also claimed victory in eight NFL Championships prior to the Super Bowl's existence. Their long time rival Green Bay Packers are the only team with more titles (12). The Bears have had some of the most colorful and memorable personalities in football history. Coach Mike Ditka will always be a legend in the eyes of Chicago's fans. Other memorable Bears stars include Walter Payton, Jim McMahon, and William "Refrigerator" Perry. The team has had twenty-six playoff appearances, acquired eighteen division championships and four conference championships.

In the last 2011 season the Bears finished the season with an 8-8 record and did not qualify for the playoffs. They finished placed third in the NFC North. This year they hope to make the playoffs. Some of their most valuable players this season are wide receiver Brandon Marshall, defensive end Julius Peppers, quarter back Jay Cutler, running back Matt Forte and line backer Brian Urlacher.
