TThe Chicago Bears are members of the North Division of the NFC. The team plays at Soldier Filed in Chicago, Illinois and they are one of the most successful NFL franchises ever. The Bears won Super Bowl XX and also claimed victory in eight NFL Championships prior to the Super Bowl's existence. Their long time rival Green Bay Packers are the only team with more titles (12). The Bears have had some of the most colorful and memorable personalities in football history. Coach Mike Ditka will always be a legend in the eyes of Chicago's fans. Other memorable Bears stars include Walter Payton, Jim McMahon, and William "Refrigerator" Perry. The team has had twenty-six playoff appearances, acquired eighteen division championships and four conference championships.
