Information

Charlotte Bobcats information, The Bobcats joined the NBA in 2004. They filled the void left by the Hornets when they left town for New Orleans. In their very short team history the Bobcats have yet to make the playoffs. NBA legend Michael Jordan is part owner of the franchise.

After another losing season in 2009 the Bobcats traded their first ever draft pick Emeka Okafor to the Hornets for center Tyson Chandler. In the 2009 NBA Draft with the 12th pick Charlotte selected Gerald Henderson from Duke. Their developing squad shows promise with players like Gerald Wallace, Raja Bell, and D.J. Augustin.
