Information

Carolina Panthers information, The Carolina Panthers entered the NFL along with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 1995. They play their home games in Charlotte, NC at the Bank of America Stadium. In their short NFL history the Panthers have actually had some success. They have gone to the Playoffs in three years of their existence (1996, 2003, 2005) and reached the Super Bowl in 2003 but were defeated by the New England Patriots. In 2005 the Panthers had another great year. They made it all the way to the NFC Conference Championship but lost to the Seattle Seahawks. In the first round of the playoffs the Panthers defeated the New York Giants and in the second round beat the Bears.

Last year the Panthers had quite a run, finishing up the regular season with a 12-4 record (8-0 at home). They made it to the Divisional Playoffs, losing to the Arizona Cardinals 33-13. With the Delhomme Smith combination back in full effect for next season, expect the 2009 Carolina Panthers to be on top of the NFC South once again.
