Brian Regan Information

Stand-up comedian Brian Regan is known for his observational comedy, full of sarcasm and self-deprecating humor. He prides himself on remaining “clean” because he refuses to rely on using profanity or making off-color jokes to make people laugh. Instead, he focuses on the funny aspects of everyday life.

Born in Miami, his biggest comedic influences are Steve Martin, The Smothers Brothers, and Johnny Carson. He was a football player at Heidelberg College before dropping out to continue his stand-up. Regan released his first comedy album, Brian Regan Live, in 1997, a DVD performance entitled I Walked on the Moon, and two Comedy Central comedy specials that were also released on DVD, 2007’s Standing Up and 2008’s The Epitome of Hyperbole. His new special, All By Myself, can be seen on his official website. He has also been seen on late shows with Conan O’Brien and David Letterman.

Regan is coming to Boston’s Wilbur Theatre for two performances on September 28, 2012, one at 7:30 and one at 10:00.
