The Dallas Cowboys are scheduled to match up against the Oakland Raiders on Thanksgiving Day, November 26th at 3:15 p.m. The 2009 Cowboys are likely to be a top team in the NFC. They are returning quarterback Tony Romo and tight end Jason Witten. After releasing pro bowler Terrell Owens they will rely on former Texas Longhorn Roy Williams at wide receiver.
Dallas will be introducing a new stadium which will seat approximately 80,000 and for major events can be expandable to reach capacities around 100,000. With the new edition the Cowboys organization will be the host to Super Bowl XLV in February of 2011.
This season the Cowboys will play the Redskins, Giants, Eagles, Falcons, Panthers, Chargers, Raiders, and Seahawks at home. They will again face the Redskins, Giants, and Eagles at their respective stadiums. Other away games for Dallas will be against the Buccaneers, Saints, Broncos, Chiefs, and Packers.

The 2-9 Seattle Seahawks may have gotten their running game back in order, but they still seem like a bird in the pan for the 7-4 Dallas Cowboys. Wide receiver Terrell Owens exploded for 213 yards and a TD last week after being held to under 83 yards for the last five games. Romo has led the Cowboys to back-to-back Thanksgiving day wins, by an average of over 29 points. With their starting QB back on the field, the Cowboys seem poised to make a run for a playoff spot.
