Red Hot Chili Peppers Extend 2012 Tour Plans

LA rockers Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced details for their upcoming concert run across the country. The 2012 tour was originally postponed due to lead singer Anthony Kiedis injuring his right foot. Not only is the tour back on, but the band has also scheduled an additional 16 dates for Northeast and Central regions of the United States and Canada.  (more)

Bruce Springsteen Reveals Tour Schedule, E Street Lineup

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will be back on the road this spring, hitting 16 major venues across the U.S. before traveling overseas for an additional 32 concerts. The North American run will begin at the Philips Arena in Atlanta March 18th and conclude at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ May 2nd. (more)

Rondo, Pierce Switch Roles In Win Over Raptors

Boston PG Rajon Rondo paced the Celtics with 21 points before injuring his wrist late in the third quarter of yesterday’s 96-73 victory over the Toronto Raptors at TD Garden. The win finally put a stop to their five-game losing streak, being the longest of the Big 3 era. (more)

14-year veteran and last season’s Finals MVP Dirk Nowitzki provided the go-ahead layup in traffic with 5.1 seconds left to lead his Dallas Mavericks past the Boston Celtics 90-85 last night at TD Garden. (more)

Bruins Outpace Jets in 3rd Period For Win

After a sluggish start in last night’s game with the Winnipeg Jets, the Boston Bruins were able to pick up their game in the 3rd period for an impressive come from behind victory. The 5-3 was the Bruins’ 24 in 29 games putting them just 3 points behind the Conference leading New York Rangers.  (more)

Tim Thomas collected 30 saves and Patrice Bergeron found the net twice en route to Boston’s decisive 6-1 win over the New Jersey Devils Wednesday night at Prudential Center. The Bruins were up 2-1 at the end of the first period before Bergeron and Co. really shut the door on New Jersey in the second and third blocks. (more)

Seidenberg Scores 58 Seconds Into OT, Bruins Hot Streak Continues

Bruins defenseman Dennis Seidenberg found the net 58 seconds into overtime to lift Boston past the Phoenix Coyotes 2-1 last night at Arena. Seidenberg’s game-winning shot deflected off the stick of Derek Morris and trickled between the pads of goalie Jason LaBarbera. (more)

Celtics Defeat Raptors in Preseason Finale

Rajon Rondo paced the Celtics early on, scoring 10 of his team-high 17 points in the first eight minutes to lead Boston past the Toronto Raptors 81-73 last night at TD Garden. The C’s look fresh and prepared to begin their 66-game regular season run after sweeping Toronto in their two-game preseason series. (more)
