Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask is eager for the 2012-13 regular season to get underway, as he will be the No. 1 option for the Bruins between the pipes this year. Bruins Sign Claude Julien to Multi-Year Contract

The Boston Bruins have recently confirmed that they will be signing head coach Claude Julien to a multi-year contract extension. Julien has been with the Bruins for five seasons and is entering the final year of his current deal. He is ranked fourth in total wins for the franchise behind Art Ross, Milt Schmidt and Don Cherry, holding a record of 228-132-50. (more)

Brandon Bass Re-Signs With C’s

The Boston Celtics have reached an agreement with Brandon Bass on Thursday, signing the seven-year power forward to a three year deal worth $20 million. The Celtics also secured Kevin Garnett for an additional three years last week. Boston’s starting five is back intact with the frontcourt of Bass and Garnett alongside Rajon Rondo, Avery Bradley and Paul Pierce. (more)

Bruins Sign Rask to 1-Year Deal

The Boston Bruins and Tuukka Rask have agreed to terms on a one-year deal worth $3.5 million. Rask started 22 games in place of starting goalie Tim Thomas this past season, earning an 11-8 record with a 2.05 goals-against average and a .929 save percentage. (more)

Neil Young And Crazy Horse Release Fall Tour Schedule

Neil Young and Crazy Horse are set to launch a North American arena tour starting August 5th at the Red Rocks Ampitheater in Morrison, CO. The band will visit Boston’s TD Garden November 26th beforing hitting up NYC’s Madison Square Garden the following day. (more)

Celtics’ Avery Bradley Shut Down for Playoffs

Celtics second-year shooting guard Avery Bradley will miss the remainder of the postseason due to an ongoing shoulder injury. He is scheduled to undergo surgery today after fighting through several shoulder dislocations over the past few weeks. The 21-year old was a great defensive presence for the Celtics all season long, who will have to march on without him Saturday night in Game 7 against the Philadelphia 76ers at TD Garden. (more)
