Sweet Revenge Win for the B’s

The last time Milan Lucic faced his hometown in Vancouver, the Bruins faced an ugly 6-2 loss on the road. Last night at the TD Garden, Lucic made sure early on that this wouldn’t be the case with a goal at 5:12 in the first period. The Boston Bruins won 3-1, winning their 6th out of the past 7 games. The Boston Celtics play host to the Washington Wizards this Sunday. With just six games remaining in their season, the C’s are making a push for the 6th spot in the Eastern Conference and a win against John Wall and the rest of the Wiz can only help. Tip off is at 6pm at the TD Garden. (more)

Celtics Host the Kings Tonight in Boston

The Celtics, coming off a gritty double overtime win against Miami on Sunday, will be playing for the first time with knowledge of Rondo’s injury. The Celtic’s star point guard will miss the remainder of the season and possibly much of next season with a torn ACL. (more)

This Week in Boston (Dec. 2-8)

The Boston Celtics will be back at home this week after their match up against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday. They will take on the Minnesota Timberwolves at TD Garden Wednesday night at 7:30. The Celts will then head to Philadelphia to play the 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center on Friday at 7PM. (more)

Boston’s “social event of the winter season” is back for 2013. The first two Monday nights of February have been reserved for the Beanpot. Boston College, Boston University, Harvard and Northeastern will face off in their annual battle for bragging rights. (more)

Celtics vs. Nets Preview

Though the Boston Celtics haven’t been playing great basketball so far this season, they’ve had time to regroup before their match up against the Brooklyn Nets this Wednesday night. Remaining 2012 TD Garden Concerts

11/16- The Who- Legendary rock band, The Who, will be at the Garden tonight to perform their iconic 1973 double album Quardrophenia in its entirety, as well as a selection of classics. Quadrophenia marked the band’s second rock opera and hit No. 2 on the US Billboard album chart. Founding members Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend will be joined by Zak Starkey, Pino Palladino, Simon Townshend, Chris Stainton, Loren Gold and Frank Simes for this epic night. (more)

The pop punk band, All Time Low, will be at the Paradise this Wednesday at 7PM. They will be supported by The Summer Set, The Downtown Fiction and Hit the Lights as part of their “Rockshow at the End of the World” concert tour. The tour is in lieu of their most recent album, Don’t Panic, which was released on October 9 and includes their hit single, “Somewhere In Neverland.” (more)
