The longtime performer is currently touring in Brazil and Argentina before taking an expected hiatus for the remainder of 2010. The rising star has tour dates set for major venues all over the country, including the Jingle Ball show at the Madison Square Garden Friday, December 11th. Last night at the CMA’s she took home four of the most prestigious awards including Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, and Music Video of the Year. “Love Story,” her biggest #1 hit came from her 2008 “Fearless” album.

Some nominations for the 59th Grammy Awards on February 9, 2009 were announced last night as part of a TV Concert Special to celebrate the Grammys. Topping the list of nominees are Coldplay who got 7 nods and rapper Lil’ Wayne who received 8 nominations. Last night’s celebration included performances by the Foo Fighters, Mariah Carey and Taylor Swift.
