Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor announced that Nine Inch Nails will be playing a handful of farewell shows at smaller clubs starting in August. Originally planning to go on indefinite hiatus after the co-headlining tour with Jane’s Addiction, Reznor and company felt like the NIN/JA tour was not a worthy send off for the group. A post by Reznor on the front of NIN.com read “Upon reflection, the NIN/JA tour felt like we had to rush through sets due to a limited allotted set length and many shows were in daylight — it just didn’t feel right to end NIN that way”. The tour will feature shows at Ney York’s Bowery Ballroom, Webster Hall and Terminal 5, Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom, and The Wiltern, The Henry Fonda Theater, The Palladium and The Echoplex in CA. The shows are said to feature “possible special guests”, and long set lists.
