Bruins Outpace Jets in 3rd Period For Win

After a sluggish start in last night’s game with the Winnipeg Jets, the Boston Bruins were able to pick up their game in the 3rd period for an impressive come from behind victory. The 5-3 was the Bruins’ 24 in 29 games putting them just 3 points behind the Conference leading New York Rangers.  (more)

Bergeron, Bruins Light Up Devils 6-1

Tim Thomas collected 30 saves and Patrice Bergeron found the net twice en route to Boston’s decisive 6-1 win over the New Jersey Devils Wednesday night at Prudential Center. The Bruins were up 2-1 at the end of the first period before Bergeron and Co. really shut the door on New Jersey in the second and third blocks. (more)

Seidenberg Scores 58 Seconds Into OT, Bruins Hot Streak Continues

Bruins defenseman Dennis Seidenberg found the net 58 seconds into overtime to lift Boston past the Phoenix Coyotes 2-1 last night at Jobing.com Arena. Seidenberg’s game-winning shot deflected off the stick of Derek Morris and trickled between the pads of goalie Jason LaBarbera. (more)

The Boston Bruins had a November to remember. After a sluggish start to the season the Bruins were in peak form throughout November going from worst to first in the Northeast Division. In last night’s game in Toronto the offense was once again the key to victory as the Bruins dropped six goals on a tough Maple Leafs team. (more)

Bruins Continue Streak, Top Blue Jackets 2-1

Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask collected 34 saves and allowed in just 1-of-3 Columbus shootout attempts, leading Boston to win 2-1 last night at TD Garden for their seventh consecutive victory. The B’s were outshot 31-27 by the Blue Jackets but stayed in the game courtesy of Adam McQuaid finding the net through traffic 4:24 into the second period. (more)

Bruins Edge Devils, Up Win Streak to 6

Bruins LW Benoit Pouliot notched the go-ahead goal with 3:01 left in regulation to lift Boston past the New Jersey Devils 4-3 yesterday at TD Garden. The B’s have now won six straight, pushing themselves back into the playoff discussion after spending the early part of the season at the bottom of the Eastern Conference. (more)

Bruins Win 4 Straight, Top Oilers 6-3

Brad Marchand netted two goals and Tyler Seguin contributed a goal and an assist to help the Boston Bruins back up to a .500 record in yesterday’s 6-3 win over the Edmonton Oilers at TD Garden. Boston is certainly playing like contenders again, scoring 24 goals in the midst of their current 4-game win streak.
