A year ago, Jackie Bradley Jr. was assigned to Boston’s single-A team in Salem, North Carolina. After 67 games he was called up to double-A Portland. With just 61 games and 229 at bats under his belt at AA, Jackie Bradley Jr. finds himself starting in left field for the Boston Red Sox. (more)

Orioles Even Out AL Division Series

The Baltimore Orioles came to win this past Monday night at Camden Yards. Rookie Wei-Yin Chen outpitched 40-year-old Andy Pettite to complete a 3-2 victory against the New York Yankees. This game evened their AL division series at one game apiece.  (more)

Wednesday night in the Bronx marked the conclusion of the Red Sox season with a disappointing 14-2 loss against the Yankees. The Sox finished dead last in the AL East at 69-93 while New York claimed their 13th East title in 17 years.  (more)
