English rock band Muse announced the first set of dates for their upcoming 2013 headlining tour. Beginning February 3 in Edmonon, Alberta, the tour will hit locations all over the US and Canada before tentatively wrapping up in Quebec City on April 26. (more)
After supporting the Coachella Music Festival and U2′s 360 Tour in April, British rockers Muse are planning to finish the year with a string of 14 North American concert dates from September 22nd to November 6th. The Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA will play host to the band September 25th before they make their way to the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, NM the following week.
Muse will be performing in cities that include Denver, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Oklahoma City, St Louis, Columbus and Cincinnati. Members Matthew Bellamy, Christopher Wolstenholme and Dominic Howard are working hard on tour in support of their latest studio album The Resistance. After finishing up their extensive overseas tour, British rock band Muse is set to hit up major venues in cities across the United States. On February 27th they’ll be arriving at the Gwinnett Country Civic Center in Duluth, GA. They are scheduled to play the MSG in New York City on March 5th before appearing at the TD Garden in Boston, MA the following day.
Muse has been touring in order to promote their fifth studio album “The Resistance.” After its release in September of 2009, the record reached #3 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and sold 128,000 copies its first week in stores. “The Resistance” went on to top the album charts in 19 different countries. The band is comprised of Matthew Bellamy (vocals, guitar, piano), Christopher Wolstenholme (bass, backing vocals), and Dominic Howard (drums). The 2009 U2 360 Tour is only weeks away from kicking off and the excitement continues to build. The supporting acts for U2′s shows have now been announced for all dates. Snow Patrol will join U2 on the 1st portion of the European leg of the tour including shows in Spain, France and Germany. Snow Patrol will rejoin the band for the 1st leg of the North American tour starting with the Chicago shows. Muse will take over the supporting role starting with the 9/24 show at Giants Stadium while the Black Eyed Peas will finish up the tour with U2 in the Northwest U.S. shows.
