The National 2010 Tour

Indie rock band The National is set to open their 2010 tour at the National Theater in Richmond, VA Thursday, April 22nd before making their way overseas to venues in London, Paris and Berlin through the month of May. The Brooklyn natives will be sure to feature new songs from their 5th studio album, a project expected for release early this summer. The National is comprised of members Matt Berninger, Aaron Dessner, Bryce Dessner, Bryan Devendorf and Scott Devendorf. All Time Low at Boston House of Blues

The band is currently touring all over the U.S. to further promote their latest album “Nothing Personal.” They’ll be headlining venues in other major cities including Chicago, St Louis, Detroit, New York, and Philadelphia. Members Alex Gaskarth, Jack Barakat, Zack Merrick, and Rian Dawson first came together as a band in 2003. The Baltimore natives have released three studio albums to date. Their second project “So Wrong, It’s Right” sold over 14,000 units its first week in stores. “Nothing Personal” debuted at #4 and sold over 60,000 copies in a matter of days. Ace Ticket To Donate NKOTB Profits To Toys For Tots

On December 20, 2009 Boston’s own New Kids on the Block will be playing a show at the Boston House of Blues with all net ticket proceeds benefitting Toys for Tots. The band is also asking that attendees bring one unwrapped, non-violent toy to the concert for the 2009 Toys for Tots drive.Ace Ticket, a past contributor to the Toys For Tots drive (Ace has donated thousands of toys in past years), will mirror this effort by the New Kids, donating all of its net ticket profits for the 12/20 NKOTB show to Toys for Tots. Bosstones to Play House of Blues

The Mighty Mighty Bosstones scheduled three shows at the House of Blues in Boston, MA from Saturday, December 26th to Monday, December 28th. The string of performances will include songs from their new album “Pin Points and Gin Joints,” which is set to be released by the end of 2009. Originally formed in 1983, the Bosstones were eventually recognized as the leading contributors to the “ska-core” movement. In total the Boston natives have released seven full length albums, three EPs and one live album. Their 1997 record “Let’s Face It” to this day is their popular project, featuring the #1 single “The Impression That I Get.” After taking a temporary hiatus in 2003, the band reunited back home four years later at the Middle East Club. HOB Welcomes New Kids on the Block

Pop group New Kids on the Block is scheduled to headline a one night only event at the House of Blues in Boston Sunday, December 20th at 7:00 PM. The guys don’t have any immediate tour plans for now but are definitely excited about giving hometown fans a great show. NKOTB first arrived to the music scene in 1985 with the release of their debut self-titled album. From the late 1980′s and into the 90′s they sold over 70 million albums worldwide. They played a large role in paving the way for popular boy bands ‘NSYNC and Backstreet Boys. After releasing their comeback album “The Block” in 2008, they hit the road for a successful tour all over the U.S. Their first hit track “Summertime” off the album climbed to the #18 spot on the U.S. Billboard Mainstream Top 40 charts. Roger Daltrey to Perform In Boston

Former “The Who” lead singer Roger Daltrey will be playing at the House of Blues in Boston this Sunday, November 8th at 7:00 PM. The show will follow his performance at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, CT. The 65 year old rocker still has the talent to tour around numerous major U.S. cities. He still has plans to hit up venues in Atlantic City, Norfolk, New York, Charlotte, Hollywood, and Seattle. Daltrey has produced a total of 12 studio albums as a solo artist.  His last record “Moonlighting” was released in February of 2005. As a one man show his most recognizable singles are “Giving It All Away,” “I’m Free,” “Without Your Love,” “Free Me,” and “After the Fire.” Aside from his role in one of the greatest rock bands of all time and his established solo career, Daltrey over the years has also found great success in television and film. From 1975 to 2006 he appeared in over 30 films. He is no stranger to center stage, taking involvement in theatre in the past as Scrooge in “A Christmas Carol,” the Tin Man in “The Wizard of Oz in Concert: Dreams Come True,” and Judas in “Jesus Christ Superstar.” Don’t miss out on Roger Daltrey at the House of Blues.  He will certainly feature some recent material along with the classic hits we all know and love.
