Ravens End Patriots Season

Posted by Ace Staff on January 11th, 2010

Stand-out RB Ray Rice gained 83 of 159 total game yards just seconds into the contest to lead his Baltimore Ravens past the New England Patriots 33-14 yesterday in Foxboro, MA. The Pats were confident heading into the matchup with 11 consecutive home playoff victories, that is until the Ravens came in and posted 24 first quarter points to their zero. Rice shared a lot of respect for the former 3X Super Bowl champions, saying “their era is not over, they know how to win. But for the Ravens, to beat the New England Patriots set a precedent. We’ll always remember this win.” Baltimore will try to continue their post-season quest against the Indianapolis Colts this coming Saturday. NFL Playoff tickets are now available!

Pats to Host Ravens at Gillette

Posted by Ace Staff on January 7th, 2010

The New England Patriots have officially put their regular season to a close following Sunday’s 34-27 loss to the Houston Texans. The AFC East Division champions are now set to matchup with the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, January 10th at Gillette Stadium. The other AFC contest next weekend will feature the Cincinnati Bengals and New York Jets. The Patriots unfortunately will have to continue on without their go-to receiver Wes Welker, who suffered a devastating knee injury early in the first quarter in Houston. The league leader in receptions was later confirmed to have torn his ACL, giving great indication that he’ll be missing in action for quite some time. Quarterback Tom Brady is upset along with the rest of his teammates heading into their 2010 playoff campaign, but still believes in New England’s abilities to step up and compete. “There’s nobody that can substitute in for Wes and think that they’re going to be Wes. He is everything you ask for,” said Brady. “We’ve got to move on and we’ve got to go out there and play and everyone I think in different areas has to pick it up. I have to play better, Julian (Edelman) has to play better, Randy (Moss) has to play better, the offensive line, running backs, tight ends, we all have to do more. I think that’s the commitment we have to make to one another.” Brady also took the time to address the recent reports in regards to his broken ribs and finger on his throwing hand. “What’s the injury report say?,” he said. “I’m feeling really good. Everyone breaks bones over the course of the year. I’m feeling pretty good. It’s the best I’ve felt in a while.” The Pats are 5-0 all-time against the Baltimore.  Their last game showcased New England edging the Ravens 27-21 in Foxboro back in October.   New England Patriots tickets are now available!

Patriots Clinch AFC East

Posted by Ace Staff on December 28th, 2009

After struggling two weeks ago in Foxboro against the Carolina Panthers, Randy Moss caught four touchdown passes in yesterday’s 35-7 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars back at Gillette to keep the New England Patriots atop the AFC East Division. The 10-5 Patriots are certainly playing with confidence looking ahead to their upcoming post-season campaign. “It’s the time of year where we really need to start playing good football,” said QB Tom Brady, “and I think today was one of our best 60 minutes that we played all year.” Brady was able to complete 26 of 28 passes for 267 yards and four touchdowns. Wes Welker pulled in 13 receptions for 138 yards. He has now caught over 10 passes for at least 100 yards in his last seven games. He is the NFL leader in receptions with 122. “I knew my numbers would probably go up just having Tom and the type of offense we’re in,” said Welker, “but I never knew it would be like this.” The Pats are next scheduled to square up against the Houston Texans on Sunday, January 3rd. New England Patriots tickets are now available!

Pats D Rattles Turbulent Sanchez

Posted by Ace Staff on November 23rd, 2009

Mark Sanchez tossed three of his four interceptions into the hands of Leigh Bodden as the New England Patriots cruised by the New York Jets 31-14 yesterday afternoon in Foxborough, MA. Tom Brady completed 28 passes for 310 yards and a touchdown. Wes Welker, who was sidelined during the Pats Week 2 loss against the Jets, dominated the secondary this time around with 15 receptions for 192 yards. Welker has caught more than 80 passes in just eight games played. “We play those guys straight up but their one-two punch got the best of us,” said Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis. “On one play, Welker did a triple move that was crazy, man. He’s great.”  The defense especially proved themselves unaffected by last week’s disappointing finish at Indianapolis. After New England put the majority of their points up on the Jets in the first half, the D remained consistent and pressured rookie Sanchez to keep handing the ball over.  “We felt like we had something definitely to prove after last week,” said Brandon Meriweather. “We felt like somebody had to step up.” The Patriots moved New York to third place in the AFC East standings behind the Miami Dolphins. Following their big win over the Carolina Panthers, the Dolphins are now 5-5 and two games behind New England. The Pats have their toughest challenge of the year ahead on Monday, November 30th against the 10-0 New Orleans Saints. New England Patriots tickets are now available!

Pats Shift Focus to Jets

Posted by Ace Staff on November 19th, 2009

Quarterback Tom Brady and the New England Patriots have moved on from the 4th and 2 controversy despite the media’s unwillingness to let it go. Brady when asked again about last Sunday finally set the record straight with the press. “You still want to talk about the Colts?” he asked one reporter. “We want to talk about the Jets. We learned a lot from the Jets when we lost, we learned a lot from Denver, and we’re going to learn a lot from this Colts game. We have seven games left and this is the biggest one of the year.” The New York Jets are two games behind New England in the AFC East standings heading into their Week 11 matchup. The Patriots understand that the Division is most important during the home stretch of the regular season. Now more than halfway through the year, New England must put all their attention on fending off the Jets and Miami Dolphins. Veteran Junior Seau emphasized the mentality and short-term memory players are required to bring to the field each week. “You can’t rehearse it,” he said. “One thing we’re going to preach here and now is that what’s in the past is in the past. We have challenges every day. Today’s challenge is basically to be the best team we can be today to get ready for the game.” New England Patriots tickets can be located right here with us at!

Patriots Defeat Dolphins in Foxboro

Posted by Ace Staff on November 9th, 2009

Tom Brady and Randy Moss connected for a crucial touchdown pass in the third quarter as the Patriots defense contained the Miami Dolphins to 17 total points yesterday at Gillette Stadium. New England racked up a score of 27, posting at least three points per quarter. The Brady/Moss connection immediately followed a Dolphins touchdown, when Joey Haynos received a short pass from Ronnie Brown. That’s like getting stabbed in the heart right there,” said Patriots guard Logan Mankins. “You grind it out for like 10 minutes and finally score, and then in like a minute and a half we come right back.” LB Joey Porter certainly gave New England some motivation with his comments earlier this week, basically listing the Patriots organization as the NFL’s favored cheaters. After the game Brady responded to his trash talk with nothing but class and respect, saying “he’s a great player, he’s been a great player for a long time, but it’s always great when you come out of the game and you understand that you kept one of their best players from [having] an impact on the game. We have to see him again in four weeks, so I’m sure he’ll be juiced up for that game. Hopefully we can go out there and perform the same way.” The Pats have a tough string of games ahead for the next three weeks. For week 10 and 12 they will match up against the undefeated Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints. On November 22nd they’re scheduled to meet up with their division rival New York Jets at home. New England Patriots tickets are available now!

Patriots Dolphins Preview

Posted by Ace Staff on November 6th, 2009

Following a bye week the New England Patriots are set to face the Miami Dolphins this Sunday at Gillette Stadium.  The division rivals have yet to see each other so far this regular season. After the weekend they will meet again on December 6th at Land Shark Stadium. New England currently holds the top spot in the AFC East with a 5-2 record.  The Dolphins are just below .500 in third place behind the New York Jets. Miami LB Joey Porter had some choice words about Tom Brady and the Patriots when interviewing with Rich Eisen from the NFL network.  The 11-year veteran called Brady out for influencing officials, and from there continued to discuss New England’s “unfair tactics” used in the past. “He (Brady) just points to the ref and he gets a flag. So I can honestly say that he gets his own rules,” said Porter. “I still don’t care for New England. The hate’s been there for a while, especially after all the cheating they did back in the day. They can sweep it under the rug if they want to, but just like anybody else that’s cheating that gets caught, you put an asterisk by it. But nobody puts an asterisk by those championships.” The Patriots should likely retaliate with their play on the field Sunday. After these kinds of statements the squad will certainly be fired up and ready to go. New England Patriots tickets are available right here at!
