Patriots Use Running Game to Down Denver

Stevan Ridley rushed for 151 yards and one touchdown from 28 carries in total, stealing the spotlight in yesterday’s Brady vs. Manning showdown and leading the New England Patriots to win over the Denver Broncos 31-21 at Gillette Stadium. The 23-year old out of LSU fumbled late in the game but the Patriots forced Denver RB Willis McGahee to lose control of the ball soon after for New England to solidify the W. (more)

Patriots fans will see a familiar foe with a new look this coming Sunday when Peyton Manning walks out onto the Gillette Stadium turf as a member of the Denver Broncos. Manning has so far led his team to a 2-2 record after being sidelined through the entire 2011 season due to multiple neck surgeries. (more)

Pats Post 45 Points in Second Half to Crush Bills

Tom Brady directed six consecutive touchdown drives in two quarters, leading the New England Patriots to coast past the Buffalo Bills 52-28 yesterday at Ralph Wilson Stadium. The Bills controlled the tempo throughout the first half, sporting a 21-7 lead four minutes into the third quarter before the Patriots started to roll. (more)

Two time Grammy Award Winner Ben Harper will be at the Boston Opera House for one night on Friday, October 5. A man of many talents, Harper has been writing his own music since he was twelve and plays the guitar. His eclectic music includes sounds from blues, folk, soul, reggae and rock. He has a total of 11 studio albums and four live albums. He has been constantly on tour since the 1990s which has allowed him to have a solid, dedicated fan base. The show starts at 7:30pm. (more)

The Boston Red Sox will battle the Baltimore Orioles for three games starting Friday night. Head out to Fenway Park on September 21-23 to see Dustin Pedroia and the rest of the Red Sox take on their division-rivals. The Orioles are currently fighting with the New York Yankees for first place in the division. As the Orioles haven’t made the playoffs since 1997, this is an important game for them. Boston is out of the playoff hunt but is positioned to play a spoiler in the series. (more)
