Rock musician Eddie Vedder will be touring across the country in promotion of his second full-length solo album Ukulele Songs. The Pearl Jam frontman is also set to release a live DVD entitled Water on the Road. (more)

Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder is on tour in support of his first solo album, the soundtrack for the film Into The Wild. Vedder launched the tour in April to positive reviews from fans and critics alike. “This will be an amazing opportunity for fans to see Eddie Vedder in such intimate settings” said RCA Music Group VP Matt Shay at a recent press conference. Fans should expect plenty of songs from the Grammy-nominated Into The Wild, some Pearl Jam favorites (“I Am Mine” has been played at most of the shows), and a wide range of covers (songs by Daniel Johnston, James Taylor, Tom Petty, Bob Dylam, and Tom Waits were played at the first show on the tour. Much like Pearl Jam shows; Marathon set-times, double encores, and audience interaction are all the norm. Wild standouts standouts “No More”, “Hard Sun”, and “Guaranteed” are featured prominently in the sets. After the month-long jaunt, Vedder will join up with the rest of Pearl Jam to resume work on their next as-yet untitled ninth album.
