Two time Grammy Award Winner Ben Harper will be at the Boston Opera House for one night on Friday, October 5. A man of many talents, Harper has been writing his own music since he was twelve and plays the guitar. His eclectic music includes sounds from blues, folk, soul, reggae and rock. He has a total of 11 studio albums and four live albums. He has been constantly on tour since the 1990s which has allowed him to have a solid, dedicated fan base. The show starts at 7:30pm. (more)

I can place myself to the exact moment when I first learned of Dispatch. It was around 2003 and there were lots of acoustic-based singer songwriter types clogging up the radio stations. But one day, skipping class a friend played me “The General” and I stopped him and had to ask, “Who is this?”. (more)
